2019 Reading Challenge

Post by gali » 09 Jan 2019, 22:45

New year, new goal. How many books do you intend to read this year?

Take our ultimate reading challenge and set up a new goal on your profile. At the end of the year, you can see if your goal was met. Good luck! :)
In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." (Mortimer J. Adler)

I'm aiming for 50 books (though, if my reading keeps up at this rate (I've already finished 3 books this year, yay!) I'll surpass it).

I'm aiming low because I'm hoping to get to some of my longer to-read books (like The Divine Comedy, and the second GoT book, etc.).

And, of course, Moby Dick.
We are temporary creatures, and we know it--that's why we fear the dark, after all, that's why we build walls and light candles to keep it out.

Nice! :)

I'm aiming for for 100 books, though I passed that number last year. I don't want to stress myself.

Every year I've tried for 100 or more and have only gotten about 95. This year? I'm going for 95. Maybe then I'll get over 100. :D
