I think the "Face of fear" and the cover page makes the book look horror to me. Although, it portrays the character in the book very well. So I think its perfect based on my opinion.

the title and the cover page are a bit misleading at first but when one starts reading it, i believe it will be clear from what angle the author is coming from. the scenario in the book must have not been an easy ordeal to go through hence the face of fear.

Fear is something natural to feel if we face a hard situation, I think the title genuinely fit in, if you are passing a hard time through kidnaping or abduction, I'm sure you will face fear, which is a good horror title.

The title didn't adequately do justice to the story. One would have thought it was going to be a ghost story.

It is an excellent choice of title for this kind of book. The personification of fear makes it all the more real and scary. I think it is the title that links up the content of the story with the ghost face on the cover. A reminder that that not all horror is of a supernatural nature...

Never judge a book by its cover. In this case, the title of the book is suitable enough. The title expresses the suspense in the book. I think the title is okay.

Both the title and the blurb pose this book as a horror book. I was mesmerizes to realize that this is not the case

I agree with previous posts that the name along with the cover definitely made me believe this was more of a spooky horror story and I was surprised to see that it wasn't.

I actively avoided this book because of the cover making me assume it was a horror book. I guess it isn't a fitting book cover at all. I may have read it if I knew it was a mystery novel instead.

The book does imply a certain horror element, but truly that's up to interpretation. I think it fits in well with the genre, despite the initial misleading cover and title, as "The Face of Fear" has a boatload of references. With respect to the title alone, one may even assume it's a psychological thriller, or contains some philosophical aspect. It really is up to the imagination.
And in the end, we were all just humans... Drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.

I feel the title is not suitable. When I saw it, I concluded it was a horror story.

I do think the title is fitting, because of the kidnapping. I relate the title to the image I get in my head of the moment someones first kidnapped. At that moment, nothing is certain. Uncertainty is the face of fear in my own life.

The title depicts what is contained in the blurb and so a reader is coaxed that this is a ghost story but this is not true in real sense.

The book title is definitely misleading. From the title you would think that book is a horror. The title does not relate to the story and this is made worse by the cover page. A horror story fanatic would definitely pick this book at first glance.

I can't think of many things scarier than kidnapping and murder. The title itself seems perfect for this genre of book. However, the graphics of the front cover do make it look more like a horror book and don't seem to match what the book is about.
