These statements are proving the more that William was a good father. It is true that sometimes wealth will tend to distance a parent from his/her children. This was not so for him. It proves that he was good indeed.

I have only read the sample, but from what I have read, William sounds like a good father. At least so far. I would have to read more in order to make well informed decision.

I believe that he was a good father I mean he did what he could to keep her safe. But he also took really good care of her being a single father and just his request for Debbie to call him once a day shows a considerable amount of love and care.

Yes, he seems strong-willed. Having the natural character traits that a father should have.

William Lance is a terrific father. He gave his life to raising his only daughter. It's a particular attribute that is difficult to find among men.

Yes, I think he is a good father, and fulfils his duty to protect his daughter when he finds her in a difficult situation.

He is a responsible father based on his positiveness iñ caring for his daughter single handedly with the death of his wife. His actions of communicating frequently, even on phone, show his concern.

I have been thinking the same thing. His protective instincts are laudable, and he is an attentive, caring father. But I think from his daughter's perspective, it could feel overprotective. Even his careful attention to her boarding the ferry didn't save her from being kidnapped.

I thought Lance was a very good father. He realized that his success could bring problems into his daughter's life. Some might say he is overprotective of Deborah. I think he was wise. It also says something that Deborah still lived with him. The relationship they had was a testament to his parenting skills.

There is no bigger way to show love to your children than the attention you can give them. It was good to see William taking care of his daughter until Debbie could celebrate him.

Yes. He is a modest dad and is always concerned about his daughter. I saw him as a sensitive parent.

Of course the definition of a "good father" is nebulous, but I feel like he is. His commitment to his daughter was impressive.
