Actors have learned languages for specific roles in the past, so I think that could be worked around.

Most people even enjoy movies with languages which are foreign to them. The story could even be translated from Latin to English.

I really really hope it would be adapted into a movie The language isn't really a barrier because translations can be made. Excellent script writing would also indicate the difference in the languages.

I think mythology is very interpretation based and so a movie would ruin that aspect of the book. Also, movies set in the far past typically bore me and I much prefer books because the use of language and development of characters is more comprehensive than in movies.

I think the Latin and Celtic languages add a nice touch to the book, and it shows the language and culture of the people. When adapted into a movie, subtitles can always be used.

I don't see the language being much of an issue, but I think a T.V. series might do more justice in terms of developing the story as well as characters.

The book would make a great movie. The language barrier is not a big issue. They can include the English subtitles if they want to keep the authenticity of the time period and the location.

Representing the two cultures accurately without offending descendants is always an important aspect to consider when putting a time in history on the big screen. Language could be a barrier, but movies have always excelled at moving past that issue. Honestly, I feel the historical accuracy is the largest obstacle. Researching the time period, ensuring the materials, props, and costumes all live up to the spirit of the novel and the depiction of the setting can be both time consuming and risky. Since we have seen TV shows and movies do it before, I see no reason why enough money could not do it again.
