I'm into the 5th chapter, so you can post.
I liked the intense beginning. The author drew some harrowing scenes which made me hold my breath.

I was sad of the death of Solovey (the horse). I hope he will come back to the story some way or another. I thought Vasya was silly locking him in the stable instead of running straight away. She was brave going to the mob, but not smarter. At least her sis and two kids were saved.
The evil priest Konstantin is back, unfortunately, irritating more than ever. I hope this time we will be done with him.
I was glad Vasya manged to escape from his clutches. Trying killing her with fire was a way to cruel, even for him.
I wonder what will happen now that the bear has awakened!
