I just finished the book and love it!

Where are you in the book?

I very recently finished too, gosh we got through that quickly! I think it was amazing and I loved the conclusion. Did you predict any of what happened? Would you have forgiven Anna? What did you think of the plague doctor/ Oliver? The one unanswered question I still had at the end of the book is what happened to Daniel and what did he do to be put in Blackheath?

Yes, it was amazing and I couldn't stop reading. I rated it 4 our of 4 stars, as I loved the book. The premise is brilliant and I loved the setting and the scope of the tale.

The following quote sums this book perfectly: "Too little information and you're blind, too much and you're blinded".

I didn't predict any of that. As soon as I thought I had everything sorted, something new came up.

I don't think I would have forgiven Anna. She was a murderer, all said and done.

I hated Evelyn. She was one of the monsters!

The plague doctor was a dubious character. He claimed to be helping Aiden, but he wasn't entirely truthful. He DID collude with Daniel and The Footman after all.

Yes, the author didn't close all threads, more the pity.
