I think the subtle moral lessons are great. It is a way to make a child reading this book act and/or feel like a superhero while being a decent human being. It is also good for a child to know that being a superhero doesn't always mean being able to fly. Sometimes it just means doing the right thing.

Yes it is something children authors should adopt. Superheros are people like you and I. They have just chosen to stand out in certain areas. Yes there are subtle moral lessons that can be copied by other authors.

I think that’s what makes the book so good for kids; Teaching kids early on the good things to do and want to follow Toni’s example. I think more authors for kids should adopt a similar style for kids to learn right & wrong especially since some kids don’t always have a good example to follow in their life.

The superhero concept is great because kids love superheroes, and they easily relate with stories having such characters. Though Toni doesn't have supernatural powers, he is involved in the everyday chores and activities. That's a great lesson for kids.

I think there are lessons like helping around in the house and even appreciating diversity because they're are both white and black kids.

I agree with that. I remember when I was a kid I'd emulate the protagonists of the books I've read. Not all of them were as good as Toni.
I think more authors of children's books should use this tactic to endorse good behavior and positive traits.

Yes! I noticed that Toni has the initiative to do all his chores and is helpful with his mother without being told to do so. He seems to be a nice kid and it is a plus factor that he is a hero!

I think it is good for children to see the value in sometimes mundane tasks such as cleaning the house and doing homework, so portraying these acts as important and worthy of a superhero's attention is a great way to encourage kids to help out.

The author used superhero as a bait to make children understand the importance of being useful at home.

Kids can learn from Toni how to help out in anyway they can.
