The cover page is excellent. I think the illustration provides an insight of the books contents and is useful in memorization.

I think that the illustrations do help in the confidence of children because what is shown on the picture is what the text is all about. This especially true for English native speakers.

Illustrations paint a picture of the book contents. I bet children would try to imitate the drawings and thus help their understanding of the book.

The cover and illustrations work well for this book. Sometimes taking a simple route is the best route. It will appeal to the age range more with being simple.

For me illustrations were a crucial part of the book when I was reading as a kid so it's always nice to see authors putting in an effort to have good illustrations. The style of Toni the Superehero is simplified and a cartoon like, in many ways one would consider it suitable for a superhero theme. Though I would prefer more complex and detailed drawings, for the style they are aiming for it looks fresh, empowering and suitable for authors aim.

I think the illustrations are brilliant. In a time where books have to compete against computer games, it is vital to make them as appealing as possible to children and these illustrations have the ability to engage most.

I think the cover is beautiful and perfectly illustrates what the book is about. The illustrations are great and appealing to look at, but nothing too extraordinary. Kids don't need it to be extraordinary.

I thought the illustrations were ok. They were colourful enough to keep the child's interest, but I didn't think the proportions were that great. The lines were not parallel where they should have been (geometrically) and it actually made want to look away.

The book was intended for children as the target readers. The simplicity of the cover and the drawing is thus appropriate.

Loved the cover and the illustrations. I’m a mom of three and the illustrations helped my get my kiddos more involved with the book. For example, I pointed at the fruit on the cover and asked my oldest what they were and what colors they were.
