Did the imagery of the various scenes of Europe was detailed?

Post by Yerenzhu »

I myself thought that the descriptions and the images whenever Angela and Alex went from place to place were spot-on and I felt like I was there. Did you feel that way?

Yes, I agree. I enjoyed Angela and Alex's descriptive adventures. I felt as though I was there.
And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. (Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) :reading-7:

I agree! I think the author did a good job explaining the different scenes. It was nice to feel like you were actually there, experiencing the landscapes, weather patterns, and food. The imagery of the food was great! I am drooling thinking about the homemade Italian dishes.

My favorite was her descriptions of Alex's vineyard and the food Maria cooked!!! I did feel like I was there myself, the visuals were wonderful.

I thought that Belle Ami excelled in her descriptions of food and wine; I felt like I was able to taste everything that Angela ate or drank. As for the imagery for the various scenes of Europe, I thought that the author described some scenes better than others. Examples of Ami's best descriptive imagery were the scenes of Lorenzo de Medici's celebration.

I think that the descriptions of the food was great and definitely mouth watering, but towards the end it seemed to be more of a focus in the story. Ami's descriptions of the locations were pretty spot on and had great imagery. As others have mentioned it really makes you feel like you are there with the characters.

I felt the same way. The imagery in this book is so vivid. At points, I felt like I was with them in Italy. I love when books create such clear images. Added to that are the fabulous descriptions of all the delicious food they enjoyed. It made me want to go out for Italian!

The scenery in this book was beautifully described. I loved the detail the author put it. It really made me feel like I was looking at whatever scene the author was describing at the moment.

The writer's power of description was spot on and superb. I felt like I was actually living in those times.

I agree with you on this one. The author's description of the scenery was fantastic. The food, the landscapes, and the weather- everything felt like it was real! Kudos to the author for his work.

I can’t say if what they describe are accurate because I have not been to these places. However, I thought the scenes described were beautiful. I could actually picture myself there.

It was perfectly balanced in detailing. If there had been more details, it would add to the volume and make readers bored.
