I love Fioretta & Giuliano; especially due to her friendship with the Master Leonardo Davinci. I love the Italian Renaissance Era.

Fioretta Gorini and Giuliano de Medici was my favorite couple. The way they met, her independent nature and his love for that independence.

I guess, Alex and Angela. There is romance in their relationship. Moreover, there are supportive of each others ambitions. Angela goes out of her way to help Alex recover the lost painting.

I agree with you Rosemary! I thought that out of all the couples, Belle Ami focused a lot on Fioretta Gorini and Giuliano de Medici. In addition to the love between Fioretta and Giuliano, the author took the time to develop their friendly relationship with Leonardo Da Vinci. Furthermore, compared to Sophia and Angela, I thought that Ami did a better job at giving Fioretta a personality that is independent, rebellious, and intelligent. :)

My favorite couple has got to be Gerhard and Sophia. For one thing, I have always had a fancy for war romances, especially when they are from different sides. Also, this was one of the greatest wars in history, something that has been the center of many stories, but Belle Ami still found a way to make it original. I do wish that she went on more with their story, I certainly wouldn’t mind a longer book.

Giuliano and Fioretta hands down. The relationship was more romantic. I'm not so keen on how Alex is this passionate man one minute and then speaks how you would hitting on some random chick online. Giuliano made it his business to know her first, to romance her, find out about her. He wasn't immediately thinking about having sex.

Of course I would go with the leading characters Angela and Alex. Their love life is heartening, full of challenges but they are always there for each other.

I enjoyed Alex and Angela's love story because their arch was fully developed so we had time to fully see their relationship blossom while they were under duress. The struggled together, fell in love for real and lived happily ever after. I like those types of love stories.
