My favorite was Amanda because she was portrayed as being sweet and caring and even though she had so much stress in her life, she still managed to put a smile on her face. I think my least favorite would have to be Melody. All the other girls knew each other for years and melody just comes along and automatically joins their group on her first day.

My favorite was Melody as I felt she had a satisfying character arc and I enjoyed the way she talked about photography.

My favourite is definitely Rose. She is easy to approach, motherly, lovable, wise and has years of experience in life. She lost her only child, her husband and her friend Amanda. I personally don't know if I can be strong enough to take all this. Rose knew even though she was strong. Friends play a big role to help one cope.

I like rose and Sophie the most. Sophie was the one who found each member of the group and rose was always the best teacher. She has a good sense of humour and the patient one. I liked rose the most and I least like Melody May be because he was the last one to enter or just I didn’t get more about her.

Probably Sophie and Melody. Sophie's personality was very relatable to me. There's a scene where during breakfast, she was questioned about her resistance to get into a new relationship, and I could totally relate to her annoyance. The insistence from her friends kind of pissed me off. As for Melody, I liked her because her character was exceptionally developed. Her personality was so realistic given her circumstances that i couldn't help myself but loving her.

I preferred Amanda, she seemed dedicated to her family and struggling to keep herself while away. I felt she was the most wholesome and identifiable character

My least favorite Reel Sister is Veronica, because it seemed to me that she was not minding her business. I'm thinking of the part when she nagged Sophie to go on a blind date.
My favorite is Melody because she seemed very down to earth.

My favourites would be either Sophie or Veronica, as they both remind me of myself. My least favourite, or rather least relatable character was Melody with her edginess and introverted vibe.
Do you ever feel like you spend too much time reading? Yeah. Me neither.

Before Melody came along, I was rooting for Amanda. Her strength and drive plus her not being downtrodden by the realities of her situation were really awe-inspiring. I started to like Melody when she came along, too. I'd have to say it's a draw between the two.

For me, I liked the character of Amanda because she was the most realistic out of all the characters. But was it really necessary for the author to kill her? I was a bit upset at that. Well I can understand why some readers in this thread dislike the character of Rose because I too share the same dislike for her. Rose is depicted as the ideal mom like figure who is kind and helpful to everyone. Rarely, in real life does one come across such a persona.

I would go with Amanda. She was such a strong woman considering the adversities she was facing. Also she was the youngest in the group.

I love Sophia the most, because I could relate with her need to make everyone's life better and also her relationship issue were real to me. I love Melody for being different and owning it, most times we change who we are because of people's opinion of us, becoming lesser of who we are and can be in the process

Sophie and Amanda are my favorites. I really like Sophie's independence, how if she wanted something for herself she would go after it. She opened her own greenhouse, she learned how to fly fish. She was also a great friend! I was really happy when she found Buck, the whole scene is so awkward and realistic, it had me smiling the whole time. Amanda is the closest to me in age so it was easy to relate to her. She is so sweet and caring, while also strong. She goes through so many things and she manages to always have a smile to offer. I was heartbroken when she died.
I don't have a least favorite but I think Veronica is the least relatable one and the one who grows the least during the book.

Veronica was my least favorite reel sister. I didn't hate her but i just liked her less. I couldn't connect to her character most of all.

My favorites are Amanda and Melody. Though I found it really odd how they got acquainted to Melody. It's possible to happen in real life, but it's rare.
Happy reading,
Gelli xoxo
