Chapter 10: “I know my limits; and that’s just the way it is.”

It’s the chapter that he discusses an acquired sense of frugality based on his upbringing. I have a lot of personal experience with his mindset of that time, and I realized that I currently have a similar way of thinking, of saving for no thing in particular but just wanting it aside “in case.”

Also, Chapter 12: “What happens in my world determines how I feel.”

Taking responsibility for one’s actions is a difficult feat when one does not feel in control of life. It takes time to adopt a different mindset, but it really can be quite rewarding to realize that you are in control of your own actions.
