Whether a person desires to read the second book in a series I feel is very telling of their impression of the first book. These answers tell me I should read book one. Thanks for all your answers.

If the author manages to make the story even more interesting, why not? However, I don't really think there's anything the author will write about after the events that took place in the first book.

For the purpose of good rating, there is the need to read the second book. Maybe the second book will be fun and interesting. Its not advisable to draw conclusion now. Just go ahead and read a second book.

I reviewed this book and gave it a good rating, so I will most definitely be reading the second one. The ending of this book left me wanting more, so I can't wait to read the second!

I would surely read the second book because it I loved the first one and I hate reading books halfway. It has great characters and I am eager to know what would happen when they get back to school.

I do not enjoy fantasy much. The near impossibility of the scenes makes it unrealistic and frankly, a little boring.
