What do you want your Spirit Animal to be?

Post by Chelsy Scherba »

Many Native American cultures look to animals out of a desire to embody i.e. the swiftness of a deer or the grace of a hawk. If you could have a spirit animal, what would you choose and why? What characteristics do you admire or have in common with your choice?

A bear. A bear symbolizes courage. A bear will be calm and playful but when provoked, is capable of tactics and protecting itself.

My spirit animal would be a bird because I can sing at any time of day - morning, noon, and night!

I would, most likely, choose a wolf. They are loyal and determined. They also have a strong sense of judgement since they are pretty good at following their instincts. I can see myself relating to them somehow.

My spirit animal would have to be a jaguar. They are graceful and strong. They are intelligent and independent.

I think a wolf. I can be a "loner" but I'm also intrinsically and deeply tied to my family and close friends. We're loyal to each other until the end. I'd be willing to fight to the death for them but I don't initiate fights.

A Condor maybe. I feel attracted to the bird nature, we show the same characteristics and this highlights me relation with the eagle. The king of the sky!
