That's just wonderful. Music is the language of the soul. Someone who could navigate its intricacies and wield its powers could change one's day towards more positivity.

I admire headstrong people especially those who are unafraid to go for what's right.

We've got the same choice. An eagle frees itself from confining and debilitating bounds as it takes flight towards the right destination, as it contributes to the overall balance in the cycle of life within its realm.

I like your staunch stand to avoid fights.

I haven't read the book yet but it would be interesting to have a closer look at the redeeming qualities of something that is normally daunting and not everyone would be fond of.

We all need that sense of purpose to go on as well as the means and leeway to do so.

That's cute. Sometimes, it takes deviating from usual expectations for one to be noticed and appreciated. It still needs to be right, though.

I've even had dreams of being able to run as fast as I wanted on four limbs and covering huge distances in seconds. That said, I am not a runner by any stretch of the imagination and being vegetarian, I would make a terrible cheetah.
What we are should cease to be the only alibi for us not to become what we envision the improved version of ourselves to be.

teacherjh wrote: 20 Apr 2018, 11:31 On a humorous note my spirit animal would be a sloth - sleep and eat all day. But truthfully I would need to pick an animal that seems calm most of the time but is fiercely protective of their loved ones. Any ideas?
Every creature in our world is created for a purpose. The sloth is not without a redeeming quality either as lengthily tackled by an article I've just read. It's not just an inherent part of the food chain essential for ecological balance. It is good in camouflaging and can also be fast and tenacious with its claws, if need be, for instance. I agree that calmness under pressure is a virtue worth going for.

Power isn't bad indeed if used by the right person the right way, at the right time, and for the right purpose.
