Strong Heart would make an incredible film. I think the hiking and camping scenes would be fun to watch and film. When Sarah has her vision, this could have Sepia tones in the filing to show the aged period where she went. The descriptions of Russia and the frozen waterways where the Indians walked would have been so beautiful.

I think it would make an interesting movie. With a native American touch...

This kind of stories, full of adventure, about old and almost forgotten legends are the best for a movie.

Almost immediately after finishing this book I found myself hoping someone would make this a movie and do a good job of it. I also want a second book about these characters and their various situations.

I think this book would work wonderfully as a film. However, I'm hesitant to post that because very few films follow the storyline of the book. 90% of the time the book is so much better. If the producer would work with the writer to create something that very closely follows the book, I think it would be great!

I am only judging by the descriptions in the first quarter of the book, but I would like to see this book made into a movie. The scenery is beautiful. Yes, I can actually see the mountains in my minds eye! Isn't that why we read so much, after all?

I think it would be best felt or enjoyed by many in video form. I fancy films with their setting being in the reserves.

I see it handling better as a film then a novel to be honest. The best moments were in scene and in place, which would look lovely and enhance to see played out on the screen.

I think it could. It would be like an action and a drama movie.

I think it could work well as a film... the visualisation of Sarah's tale in particular might actually be an improvement on the book. And of course the scenery generally would lend itself beautifully.

Since it was already like a movie in my head, given the great descriptions of the author. I definitely think this would make a great movie or TV series. No actors come to mind.

No, won't make a good movie as the plot moves at a very slow pace. Mere scenic beauty do not pull audience

I am one of those that always feels like the book is usually better, but I love to watch movies that started out as books.

I think that it would be an amazing film. Adventurous books are mostly preferred as films.

I think it could work well as a film, the scenery would be amazing. It might be hard to incorporate Sarah's journey though. I'm not sure how well that would work. The rest of the story would be great though, especially if the producer brought out more of the conflict between the tribal land and the big companies wanting the land.
