My old 1989 Toyota's headlights failed in a remote section of a large highway. It was 1am and no cell service. I drove over 100km in the dark. Some parts of the highway were under construction, so I knocked a couple of barriers. At some point I tapped a weak flashlight on the front hood.

The ordeal lasted 5 hours. It was daybreak by the time I reached civilisation. My front grille was broken, I had 2 flat tires and got arrested by a mean cop who cited my unroadworthy ride. I spent my weekend in a poorly lit lice-infested cell. This was a week ago ?

I have a lot of slightly-dangerous things that probably should add up to a very dangerous one. Hitchhiking through Italy, riding on the top of a bus in India, getting caught in a storm off the coast of Antarctica, and of course, riding public transportation after midnight (arguably the most risky). If anything, that's what I call an adventure.

Flown an aeroplane accross the country with not one hour of experience or teaching behind me. As I am still here, I did so successfully. It's a miracle to me too.

I just got my drivers license and it seems to me that driving is a very dangerous thing to do in our everyday routine. I live in a small town that can be very crowded sometimes and then everyone gets furious and they drive very reckless.

It's a toss up between relocating to Mexico City and getting married. I think getting married might win by a hair.

At four years old- decided that my sore throat would go away faster if I swallowed a lozenge the size of my eye whole. Infallible logic, really. Needless to say, it went down the wrong pipe and I needed to be heimliched. That made my chest hurt for days and my sides were bruised a little because my dad panicked and pressed too hard.

I stuck my head inside the railing for the stairs as a kid, and it took a lot of effort from a lot of people to get me out. It was pretty scary and I still don't go near anywhere that has my bodyparts fit in.

I and my friends once decided to have an adventure of jumping from a moving truck. The person who would manage to remain upright would be the winner. The adventure ended when the law of gravity did it's work.

I was an adrenaline junkie as a young person so I have put myself in danger numerous times. It was basically temporary youthful insanity. The one thing I was probably the luckiest to live through was hitchhiking across the U.S.

Does Childbirth count? I don't really do a whole lot of dangerous things.

The most dangerous thing I've ever done was walk across an old pipe to get to the other side of a wide fording. There had been a hurricane and the place was absolutely flooded! I could've slipped and fallen into the waters, where huge boulders were washing down with the currents. It was a metal pipe, so narrow I still marvel how I managed to keep my footing. It was really hard not to be frightened by the water below but I managed it. I had two choices, flee to safety via the pipe (which could've led to me pitching over and drowning) or die by staying out where I was.

Faced my fears and spoke up at the right moment. I find human being most dangerous. So facing your fears and being true in hard times is the most dangerous thing according to me.

Drive the death road in Bolivia. This wasn't for fun - we were on a trip to meet some contacts in another city and this was the only way to get there. It was a very tense drive but you get amazing photos!!

I've been part of a narrow escape while driving. So I prefer not to take any risks while driving. I prefer to live and love my life ?
