I'm afraid of urchin pierces, jelly stings, sea snakes and many more.

Most of all I fear high sea levels simply because I don't know how to swim.
That is what they make life jackets for!

Oh, I'm definitely scared of the ocean. The fact that we know more about outer space than the ocean, which is legit on the earth, totally freaks me out. Plus the tides are strong as heck and can pull you out, not to mention riptides and all of the creatures in there. It's so pretty though!

I will always be afraid of the sea so long as i am in the deep sea where i can not stand on my feet and breathe in case of an emergency.

The sea has a beautiful scenery which I admire. Although beautiful but can be dangerous especially if one does not know how to swim. Caution must therefore be taken when swimming

Some people might be afraid that the sea is a reality, a beauty to enjoy. So I am not afraid of it but I enjoys it

Not at all. I've done a little sailing, and would love to learn more. I did have one semi-bad experience of trying to sail by myself and just getting knocked around by the wind, both because the boat was too light to handle the level of wind that day, and because I didn't know enough to know that, or how to manage it.

Fortunately, I was just bopping around in a harbor, so I spun in circles until someone came out and got me.

I learned and grew that day.

Absolutely. I have almost drowned twice, and it's extremely painful. I've had a fear of water ever since I was little because of it. I don't really fear death, but the pain is too much for me. The sea would freak me out too much.

Am one of them. I've never traveled in an ocean before and therefore I don't think staying in the sea/ocean will be something I can enjoy.

Absolutely not! There are a lot of things that deserve our respect in regards to the ocean because many of it is dangerous. However, the ocean is a beautiful ecosystem, and I love every part of it.

Yes. It's wide and unforgiving. It deprives you of everything. It's practically an alien world. Even if you can swim, your chances of reaching land are severely limited.

Being afraid of the sea is normal to us as human. But the confidence would be always there especially if you wear your life saver. Though I know how to swim a little, but my skill does not guarantee if i can survive if something happen. But being smart when you are at the sea is still the best thing to do. Be with someone who are a good swimmer and of course always wear your "LIfe Saver."

I don't think that the sea is a scary place, unless its horrible weather or you are in an area with pirates. The sea and ocean have a bad reputation due to how movies have highlighted the worst that could happen and fed on/ into peoples greatest fears. Like shark attacks are far rarer than media has made us believe. Some of the fears that people have of water are based on freak accidents, movies, and urban legends.

I have a love-fear relationship with the sea. It fascinates me and at the same time terrifies me. Your question reminds me of the words of a sage who said that knowledge is like the sea, if you dive deep into it you will find limitless treasures, but one must be wary of the dangers of its hidden depths and caves.

I did have one experience where I almost drowned in the sea when I was younger. Now I can still go to the sea, but not to the deeper parts. I'll back away immediately.

Yes. I don't know how to swim. I will die from panic with just the thought of a capsize.
