Multiple protagonists create a complex plot worth reading since the story doesn't end with the removal of one protagonist.

Yesss, I love that kind of set up. It gives you variety and makes you excited to read on as the author switches protagonists at critical points.

Although not necessarily, I prefer when all the different protagonists have something in common or share a common conflict or a common theme, just like what happened in My trip to Adele.

I think that there are pros and cons to both styles of writing. When they are all in the same situation, I enjoy the multiple perspectives. It helps limit any narrator bias. This case is a little different because the stories are all completely separate, but it is still interesting to get different perspectives on themes such as love and religion.

I do enjoy a book that has multiple protagonists if it is written well and doesn't leave the reader feeling confused or lost. And, yes, My Trip to Adele did an amazing job! I felt exhausted at the end but completely satisfied!

I like it when the book only has one protagonist, I think it's easier to follow and you are more connected to the character.

I think My Trip to Adele was successful with it's use of multiple protagonists because it was interesting to see how her music can effect all sorts of different people, in different situations and different stages of life.
I’m usually not a fan but I think it depends on how well the author writes the story. If it isn’t well written it could make you feel confused and leave you trying to remember a lot of names.
