There is only so much we can do. Creating a charity, among other problems, involves the inconvenience of channeling funds towards a purpose that may fall short, without mentioning that it is necessary to control these funds so that they are not lost in the process due to "mysterious" circumstances.

That said, children would be my priority. It is important that they are well educated and well fed if they want to have some minimal possibility in the outside world.

I am currently mentoring a few women to help them become financially and emotionally stable enough to rise out of poverty. My friend and I call it Acts 3.6 Ministry. It's based on the idea that charity should do more than meet an immediate need. It should move people to a level of independence and strength.

I would create a home for homeless people. I would also create another one for educating children from poor societies.

If I were to create a charity, I would either provide needed funds for abuse victims, especially children, or I would devise a charity specifically meant to provide counseling for mentally ill people with very little money or support from their families.

I would create a charity to help abuse survivors of all ages. It would help them have a safe place to stay and provide them with the things they need, including legal help, so they can get away from their abusers.

I think mine will be education and healthcare for children. They are deserved to be equipped with the tools to contribute back to society in the future.

I think if everyone would get equal opportunities for literacy, a lot of social evils could be solved. If I ever could, I would open a school for the underprivileged that has quality education!

One of my passions is environmental protection. I would like to have a charity focusing on the Earth as well as helping those who are directly impacted by natural disasters.

I would develop a charity geared towards schooling and even further to providing homes. It's so basic but too much people don't have access to them. With the right tools, who knows if someone who doesn't currently have access to these things not become the next Einstein or develop the cure for cancer?

I have a large group to pick from. I'd start with children charities, then medicare, impoverished homes and move on from there. The charities would focus on providing the appropriate resources based on need and circumstance.

I personally do a lot of work with Engineers Without Borders, because I am really passionate about making sure that people in developing countries have access to clean water. I would absolutely love it if I had enough money to start my own nonprofit with this goal, especially aimed at helping Latin America (where my family is from).

If I would create a charity, it would be for providing clean food and water to those people who cannot get it. In my opinion, these 2 things are most important- everything else is secondary.
