My favorite fantasy series (and any genre!) is Harry Potter. I do really enjoy fantasy and science fiction, so many of my favorite books fall under these genres.

I readily jumped on that GOT high before it became a craze. Because Dragons. I think that's why I loved The Lord of the Rings franchise so much (even though Smaug's fifteen minute appearance onscreen wasn't anything to write home about). I love the mystical take on fiction and my most recent fave is the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

Right now, I would name the Skyward Series by Brandon Sanderson as my favourite sci-fi series. I can't name an all-time favourite as sci-fi is constantly evolving and exploring new concepts. I really like the ones with strong characters, awesome plot twists and creative world-building.

Harry Potter. Many may call it generic or overly used, but it's still may favorite. It's not that I am a Potterhead or something, I just really like the series.
