The first book I remember reading was the book of Jonah from the Bible. I could read over and over how Jonah was swallowed by the huge fish and nothing happened to him. For me it was so amazing how God could control this creature.

The first book I remember is Disney's Ladybug collection of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. It was a picture book with scenes taken from the Disney movie. It must have been read to me multiple times and I remember that I memorized the whole story and began telling that story to my other friends as I held the book as if I were actually reading it. It may seem funny now, but it was the most captivating book I had ever seen, I was 3 to 4 years old.

I watched a bunch of anime and Disney movies during my childhood days. Think I was hooked on Peter Pan and was crazy about getting to "Neverland".

I don't remember which books I read as a kid but I do remember quite well what books had a great impact on me when I read them as a teenager. Reading Night by Elie Wiesel, Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt, The Diary of Anna Frank by Anna Frank, and La casa de los espiritus by Isabel Allende changed my life. I developed an inquisitive mind about the world, politics, culture, and war. Needless to say, I ended up with degrees in History and marrying a soldier.

I definitely read a lot of books as a kid, mostly picture books and some random chapter books here and there. The first "real" book i remember reading was Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets :)

The first book i remember reading is the comic Lucky Luke, it had beautiful imagery and i got captivated by its wild west theme. The next book i remember reading is one comic book with Mickey Mouse that had different info about the desert and the stars and had instructions on how to make a compass with simple tools, it really amazed me as a kid and i will never forget it.

I remember snuggling up on the couch with Mom, Dad and my brother and having Laura Ingalls Wilder read to me. I absolutely love this series, and it made a big impression on my younger self with books.
