The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. I was around 9 or so. My mom had the entire Dumas collection in her library so I then read every single book the French author had ever written...Fun times...

I don't remember exactly which book it was, but it was one from Enid Blyton's Famous Five series. I still have some copies of the series and read them when I feel nostalgic.

That was Forty Rules Of Love though I didn't ever finish it ?

The first book that I remember reading was The Ice Queen. I used to read everyday.

That must have been 'The Little Red Hen'. I really treasured this book.

The Little Prince ... of course

I cannot recall the exact title of the book but it was about a lion ruling over his territory.

The Little Witch by Otfried Preussler - I don't remember the exact age, but I remember my mom brought it to me and then I just wouldn't stop reading. I would like to re-read it one day.

I remember reading Snow white, i read it countless times!

Tom and Jerry by T. R. Adams. Of course I had read others I cannot remember.

I vaguely recall some of the books I read in Kindergarten, but I distinctly recall reading Little Women in 3rd grade. Elizabeth Enright's Melendy family books were the ones I reread from my local library every chance I could get them.

The first book I read was The Secret By Rhonda Byrne. I was about 15 years old when I read it.

The first actual book I read on my own was "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" by Judy Blume.
