Is this your typical genre?

I have to admit, this book is way outside my comfort zone! I was intrigued by the sample of it. I'm interested to finish it and see how it turns out. What about you guys? Is this the type of book you usually read, or is this a stretch for you?

No this is not the type of book I read. It is a stretch for me, but so far it has me sucked in.

Definitely not a genre I usually read! Good to know you're giving it a chance!

Although I like myths and legends, I am not used to read them a lot. I prefer science fiction <3 but I am also giving this book a try!

Yes, it is. I love the genre and always on the lookout for a good fantasy book. I also love legends, myths, and folktales, so having those in this book is an added bonus.

I don't read much about legends or myths, but I do love fantasy! So, I would say this would not be a book that I would normally read, but not a stretch either. It's been great, though, and I'm loving every minute of it.

Fantasy is one of my go-to genres. It is probably my most frequently read genre as well. I have only started reading the book and at this point it is almost mysterious. I really like that and can't wait to find out more about these legends and myths.

I don't know if it's the genre, but it's definitely not my usual type of read. I don't go for long fiction sagas. I never read Harry Potter or Lord of The Rings, for example. I've also never read any of the countless detective series that are out there.
With that said, I'm glad I read it. I like to branch out sometimes.

I am a huge fan of fantasy and mythology, but the style of this book was still quite different from anything else I've typically read. I'll admit that I was a little hesitant at first, and a little confused, but the story did grow on me.

Two of my favorite series ever!
I bought the paper versions of both since I loved them so much. I highly recommend them!

This is definitely not my typical genre but based on how this book is doing I honestly do think I will be giving it a try.

My typical genre is horror, no surprise there, I guess. I do love fantasy too, but I usually watch the movie because the books are so long. I can read a long Stephen King book any day, but I tend to steer away from sagas as a rule. This one sucked me in and I really like it a lot.

I do enjoy books about myths/legends, but it's usually not my first choice in genres. I haven't finished this one yet, but am really enjoying it.
