Health Tips, Myths, And Tricks by Morton E. Tavel, M.D. is a non-fictional manual, that offers facts on how to have a healthy lifestyle, exposes the common misconceptions people have about health and nutrition, and the scheme used to make profit in exchange for false information.

The author of this book, M.D. Morton E. Tavel, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, was a physician specialist in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He worked as a Clinical Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine. He was also a consulting cardiologist for the Care Group, Inc., and the director of the cardiac rehabilitation program. His medical research includes over 120 publications, editorials, and book reviews. M.D. Morton E. Tavel, wrote Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks after in depth research, to be able to give answers to the most frequently asked questions about health, nutrition, and fitness.

The book is very well written. It is divided in three sections: tips, myths and tricks. The first section, Tips, is about how to be healthy and maybe even lose weight, without wasting money. The second section, Myths, covers misinterpretations about self and our relationship with the world. And the third section, Tricks, is about scams done by companies to make us spend money. The book is made out of 62 chapters. Each chapter has a heading that summarizes its content. It is well structured and brief. I can see the hard work and the detailed research put into writing this manual, as each chapter contains a large number of statistics and data that support the author's claims.

This is an exceptional book that has very few grammatical mistakes, no more than 15. Some of the present mistakes are: wrongly added space bar between a word (ex. T his instead of this), missing space bar between words (ex. Goodquality instead of good quality), and a few misspelled words (ex. “creditability” instead of credibility, "generaly" instead of generally etc.)

it was an honor to read and review Health Tips, Myths, And Tricks and i really enjoyed it. It answered a lot of the questions i had about what to eat or not, how to lose weight and how to be healthy. I definitely recommend this book to everybody, and i think it is very useful for each person to have this book in their homes. Because this book was carefully written, full of data and research, and very informative, i will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.
