If you love a book that has a lot of action and adventure, Chrome Mountain, could be the book for you. This exciting thriller was created by Ben Schneider.

Trey is a brilliant scientist that is a little bored with his life. He invents something that is truly amazing but after having cold feet, he destroys the invention. He also destroys his relationship with his fiancee in the process. After being unsatisfied with his career and his life, he decides to take a trip to see his family.

Now, let's meet Sonya. Sonya takes a dangerous turn when she joins a ruthless biker gang. When she finds out how evil the bikers are, she plans an escape. This does not please her murderous ex-boyfriend.

Trey soon finds out that the Chrome Falcons are looking for him. The Chrome Falcons are a heavily armed terrorist group and for some reason, they are after Trey. Not having a clue what they could possibly want from him, he tries to plan his escape and meets Sonya on the way. Sonya decides that she is going to help Trey while running from her own problems at the same time. Can they both get away from the Chrome Falcons and go back to having normal lives? Will Sonya's boyfriend and the bikers forget about chasing after Sonya?

I enjoyed reading this book a lot. There was a lot of action in this story to keep me interested from the beginning to the very end. It was hard to stop reading the book without wondering what was going to happen next. Even though some parts were a little predictable, they weren't too predictable. The book kept me interested the whole way through.

I've got to know the characters very well. I've learned what their personalities were like. I've also have gotten to know what their qualities were and also their flaws. The author provided enough background information on both of them. It helped you feel like you were really getting to know them. It was interesting to learn how this dangerous adventure changed both characters mentally. I was most impressed with how it changed Trey. At the beginning of the story, Trey came off as a little cowardly. He gets braver throughout the book and he also starts reflecting on his attitude towards things in the past. Sonya reminded me of Wonder Woman. She was not only beautiful but she was also tough. I liked watching their friendship bloom into something more.

I appreciate that the book was spiritual as well. There was a lot of talk about Christianity and about faith from one of the characters. I was not expecting that at all from a thriller book. The author is also an Air Force vet. Throughout the book, it is easy to tell that he has a lot of knowledge about aircraft. He also has a lot of knowledge about military ranking.

The only problems I had with the story had to do with the authors choice of words and descriptions. Trey's nickname was "Jewfro". I never understood why he had that nickname. He wasn't even Jewish. I think when it comes to nicknames, the author should leave religion out of it. People could find that offensive. In some of his descriptions towards people, he used words like "chubby" and "Obese". When weight is a sensitive subject towards a lot of people I think this book could turn off a lot of viewers. Because of these reasons I give this book 3 out of 4 stars. I didn't give this story 2 stars because it was a fun story to read. I didn't notice any grammar errors. I think anyone who likes books with a lot of action to them would enjoy this book. This book does have some violent scenes so it might not be acceptable for some viewers. I am thankful that I had the pleasure of reading this story. I hope other people enjoy it as well.

Great review, Trey and Sonya sound like people who just can’t stay out of trouble.

Trey seems to destroy everything he lays his hands on: his invention and the relationship with his fiance. Anyway I like the Christianity aspect of the book. Thanks for the fascinating review!

Thank you for your review. I have read this book as well, but it was too cliche for me. It's good that you liked the book though :)

I really enjoyed your review. And your Wonder Woman reference made me smile. I can see the actress Lynda Carter spinning in circles before my very eyes!

Action and adventure are among my favorite genres. I'm also excited to read about the friendship between the main characters. Nice review.
