Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey, written by Eytan Uliel, is a novel about travel, sports life, and friendship. The book narrates the tale of four young men who decided to travel to different parts of the world. The travel is usually a one-week-long trip of adventure. The first trip was to Harper’s Pass Trail, South Island, New Zealand, with hiking and drug truck as the modes of transport. For fifteen years, they travelled to different places, facing difficulties and gaining experience all the way. The book captures the progress of their lives as young men, up to their marital lives. The main character, who is also the author, narrated his marriage to his wife, how he played the role as a father, and other somewhat ugly details, like his life of cheating.

Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey written by Eytan Uliel, is an adventure in itself. It is written in a simple language, which gives it an easy read. There is no beating around the bush with the narration, as the author treated every detail with brevity, such that the reader will hardly feel a slowdown in the actions. Readers could learn some new things about places and the cultures of the people they traveled to. Another interesting thing are the rules guiding the mission. It was unique how everyone of them was mentioned as the story progressed. It reminds me of the wizard’s rules given by Zeddicus Zu’l Zorander, a character also known as a wizard of the first order, in the movie, Legend of the Seeker. The book, Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey, is divided into three parts, which are: the beginning, the middle, and the end. All three parts cover all the fifteen missions, which interestingly end in Iceland. An interesting aspect of the story is how the life of the main character develops and how he presents all the characters with their distinctive uniqueness.

Despite the positive aspects of the book mentioned above, it should be noted that the book contains some profane words. It contains many "F" words, which some may find uncomfortable to use. Obviously, it reveals the choice of words employed in the book. Apart from this, it also contains some sexual content. Notwithstanding this fact, the vocabulary is simple.

Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey is a classical book that is professional. It is well edited without any errors. For rising above the bar, I rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.

Though the book is well written as classical literature, it contains profane words. Thus, this book is not suitable for young people and juveniles. Consequently, I recommend this book for adults generally, particularly those who love traveling, sports, and adventures.

The narrator's cheating on his wife was a pivotal moment in the book. Anticipation built up and I enjoyed the book a lot more from that point.
