Thanks for the review! It sounds like a good continuation of the first one.

OMG! Feudalism to capitalism! Looks like the author is taking the story from the frying pan to the broiler. I noticed that this series has lots of parallels with our contemporary world. The author does a good job at dressing them up into a scifi-fantasy world. Thanks for your review!

I can't agree less. However, the transition was disrupted by an attack, quite a twist from the expectation.

I know what you mean when you say the book was violent. It was a bit surprising as it was completely different from the first book. I only have one more book to read from this series, and I am looking forward to it. However, I really enjoyed this book! I thought your review was thorough and great! Looking forward to your review on the next book :D

I agree the bloody scene at the beginning is off-putting. However, I did enjoy the book and I commend the author for producing such a masterpiece. Thank you for an amazing review. Congratulations.

The whole We are Voulhire series is amazing. However, Fires of Virko is my favorite part. I like the unlikely trio of Galen, Rowan, and Demetrius.

It seems this is a void book from what I've read in other reviews and comments. I'll have it in my shelves.
