I don't mind long books; I've read plenty of them in the past. However, as I am a very emotional person, I prefer not to read books that I know are going to make me cry. For that reason alone, I'll be skipping this one. I loved reading your review. It was detailed and hit all the high points of the book, but you didn't shy away from telling us about the drawbacks or possible 'triggers.' Beautifully done!

A tale of love, faith, and the glory of god’s grace that revolves around an Eskimo family living in Alaska Territory in 1925 is quite pleasing to read. The review was quite insightful though.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Sounds like quite an intense book. Still trying to figure how the Eskimo family ended up, and how the 3 stories connect. I am glad you enjoyed it. Great review!

I liked where you write 'the realistic aspects of the darkness of life in order that knowledge and the truth will shine even brighter.' I also liked that you broke down the timeline. This is a book I will add to my must-read shelf.
