Poems about life from his point of view and about the consequences of war? It sounds intriguing! I would've loved to see the pictures he describes in his poems as well.

Quite unique and interesting subject chosen by Mark S. Osaki.Very less material is available about wars,it's sufferers and soldiers. This review definetly attracts us towards this book.

This book seems like such a wonderful, deep, and appreciative read. There aren't man books/poems that tell the story from the soldier's point of view and what they have to grow through. Very powerful! Thank you so much for such a great review!

Poetry is not my cup of tea but the topic of war is really serious. The book describes the impact of war on the whole world and individual stories of people whose life has been drastically changed by war and I'm perfectly sure that the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

This is a book that I would not be interested in as I don't read poetry or military history. But it does sound like a series of poignant poems. Thank you for the review.

From a sampling, this is an interesting collection of poems about and concerning the Vietnam era. For those that are interested in poetry, this collection is worth a second look. Well done.

I read some of the book, "Best Evidence" by Mark S. Osaka and there was some good poems in it. Overall I did not enjoy the poetry in this book. Someone that enjoys reading poetry will probably enjoy this book. I give it 2 out of 4 stars.

I am not into poetry that much, but the small amount I read from this book is very interesting. I agree with the review, that I would like to see the pictures he describes. However, they are his memories and his photographs and maybe they are sacred to him. The review is well thought out, but I'm not inclined to finish reading the poetry.

Good review. Poetry books are often overlooked but they tell a story just as intriguing as any full length novel. One just has to pay attention.

I don't usually read poetry, but this collection sounds like I might enjoy reading it. I like history, so the war aspect is intriguing. Also, as the mother of 2 kids it can be hard to find time to read, so maybe being able to read individual poems might make it easier. Thanks for the review!

In Best Evidence, Mark S. Osaki again raises the issue of the impact of the war on humanity, as well as on each individual, I have never read a poem by Osaki and for what has been expressed in the summary he has written several very interesting on complementary topics. Definitely, Best Evidence would be a good book to begin to know the poems of Osaki
