Don't you think Valentine's Day

Post by Khumpa »

Don't you think Valentine's Day is the stupidest holiday ever? I can't describe how pointless it is. All it does is make people feel like crap and make losers feel special because they get to spend the night with "Snookums."

It surely isn't on my top list of holidays. Personally I love Halloween. Its so much fun getting to dress up and be goofy without people looking at you too strangely! :D

I first saw that movie about 10yrs ago late one night and i fell in love with the whole corny nature of the movie- the OTT design of the mansion, the creepy performance of Price and the whole cliched nature of the ghouls and ghosts, it was a great old-fashioned horror movie. :D Very few horror movies stand the test of time sadly.

Valentine's can be creepy right enough ... and I not just referring to movies!

Abolish Valentine's Day, I say! I have my reasons.
8) The hedgehogs have eaten the breakfast. The rose has wilted. And I've put my trousers on. 8) -------------------- (See Post #1501)

 that's rare introduction. I now really believe you hated it. But I welcome you.
About Valentine's day? Well, people can do whatever they like. It's not my thing though.

It isn't a holiday everywhere.

Don't even get me started on Valentine's Day!

Worked in retail (a thousand years ago) and that pretty much killed the joy of that holiday for me.

Anyway, welcome to the forum, thanks for the introduction!
