My name is Carrie. I live in Arizona, though I lived many years in Colorado before relocating here and hope to one day return! I'm a first grade teacher, but I began my career track as a journalist and news editor. I have an MA in English and one in elementary education. I've taught college level English classes in addition to primary school.

I'm a proud mom of three daughters, and grandma to 6 grandchildren. In addition to reading, I enjoy camping, crocheting, sewing, my dog and cat, and, of course, writing.

I look forward to being part of a community of fellow readers and am anxious to get started! :D
