Hello everyone. I am a new member and an avid reader for many years Since Dick and Jane and first grade SRA's. During grade school I usually had a Louis L'amour paperback in my back pocket and I read them all I'm sure. I think I was in 6th grade when I discovered The Lord Of The Rings. Trilogy. Being up north here in The County we really appreciated when the Bookmobile came to town since we had no library in town and limited books at the school library. My eyes were opened to the exploits of Huck Finn and the courage of Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone etc.Many years later I still find myself turning the pages of Clancy, Connelly,Sanford, Grishom, McMurtry and so many others. I feel its time I wrote my own first novel and a book of short stories and poems I have written over the years.I. found this site this morning looking for free ebooks and a place to maybe publish a story or two.
