Have you read Inkheart yet? The concept of the book is unique - it's about a man who can bring characters out of books just by reading it aloud. There are three books in the series. I think you might enjoy it :techie-studyingbrown:

This isn't fiction, but it does fit your request for something about a love of words, books, and reading. And that's 84 Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff. She was a writer living in New York. The book, which is a very quick, but humorous read, is a collection of letters between her and a used book seller in London. Definitely enjoyable to anyone who loves words and books. :)

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke! I read it in 11th grade but I found it fascinating still.

Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia is a wonderful book.
The main character is a famous webcomic writer struggling with her daily life.
It is targeted towards younger audiences. But I think anybody would love it, irrespective of their age.

I cannot believe nobody talked about Fahrenheit 451.
Ray Bradbury's story is a classic and I truly think everyone should read it at least once in their lives. Be prepared though, because this is not a story easy to read and you will think about it for a very very long time.
The plot follows a firefighter who starts questioning the authoritarian regime he lives in. Fahrenheit always reminds me of how powerful books are and what a dangerous thing literature can be. One of my favorite books!

I second the recommendation of "The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry". I absolutely loved this book. Echoes of Fredrik Backman's writing style and character development.

Sounds interesting!
