Icon suggestions for YA novels!!

Post by aurabear1607 »

I am huge fan of young adult fiction novels. I've already read the harry potter series, twilight saga, mortal instruments, hunger games, percy jackson and wolfspring chronicles. I'm looking for more such novels. Can anyone give me more recommendations in the YA genre?

If you like magic, The Charlie Bone series or The Chronicles of Narnia are quite good. If you like dystopian/adventure, The Maze Runners series is a nice choice. Or you can try the current hot series We are Voulhire, which is of sci-fi/fantasy genres :wink2:.

I would recommend A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown. I just finished it recently and it's a great fantasy debut. Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas is another recent fantasy release that's great. You should also check out the author Maggie Stiefvater; she's got a lot of excellent young adult novels.

Try Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs, it has a lot magic elements. And you will love the main character :).

If you want a unique magic system, V. e. Schwab's A Darker Shade of Magic might be the read for you! And if you enjoy thrillers or heists, Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows duology is one of the best I've read in a while.

They Both Die at the End is one of my favorite novels, and the Percy Jackson series, as well as all of Rick Riordan's other series, will always hold special places in my heart.

For books leaning towards romance, you can't go wrong with John Green books. Other books I'd recommend are The Lunar Chronicles and The Matched series.

The Folk of the Air by Holly Black was amazing, and you might like Sara J Maas as well. Also the Shatter Me series by Taherah Mafi.

Have you read The Maze Runner series or the Divergent series? Those are really good.

If you haven’t read the Nemesis series I highly recommend. There’s Nemesis, Genesis, and Chrysalis. I would put them in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Highly recommend!
