Book Recommendations?

Post by JacieTaylor »

Hi there! I am notttt picky at all. All I love to do is get lost in a book and lately, I've been having troubles doing that. I was hoping to hear what your favorite all time book is that just captures you from the first chapter. Thanks! :D

A few of my favorites (super immersive stories) are...

Cinder by Marissa Meyer (a sci-fi and contemporary retelling of fairy tales).
The passengers by John Marrs (I don't even know how to describe it without spoiling the plot!)
Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Martin (I'm sure you've probably heard of this one, but it's truly a great series).

I'd recommend the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. Very engaging and a huge word count to boot. It's a mix of genre but more or less can be called historical fiction.

I could never put down the Nancy Drew series. I also love the Hunger Games books as well.

I loved A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout and Buried Angels by Camilla Lackberg. Buried Angels has a bit of a slow beginning but it gets good I promise.
