Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow

Post by Riszell »

What are your thoughts?
The series is published by Disney Press and was written as a literary companion to the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Hi! I also love all the films. I would really love to read a book of them. This one, I've read, is a series for young readers about Jack Sparrow's teen years before he becomes a pirate. The events in the series take place before the events in the films.

I’ve only watched the movies & I don’t think I would ever read it. Johnny Depp just brought the character to life that reading it would seem dull.

Jack Sparrow is the reason almost everyone watches The pirates of the Caribbean movies. Johnny Depp gave him life. The portrayal is amazing.

Pirates of Caribbean the only love reason to watch is Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow .The way he acted is the reason why the movie is a topnotch hit . Perfect blend of adventure, mystery, kindness, truthfulness and imagination. The movie is thus a must watch and surely any age group will love it

Casting Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow was the best decision Disney has made in a very long time. He was the perfect actor for this craziness. He is goofy and serious and the perfect mix of craziness for this character. I do not think that this series would have been as successful had he not been cast.

I've watched a couple of Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I must say the makers never disappoints. Reading the books is another area I wouldn't mind exploring. Hope the author of this particular one does a good job.

I love the Jack Sparrow character! He is very likeable. He always gets out of trouble, he is very humorous and he is quite mischievous. He definitely is the star of the stories. He is always looking out for himself, although he can be kind. If the is a book series about this character, I think it would be very entertaining and definitely worth reading.
