Honestly never been a fan of Alice in Wonderland. It was just so weird either reading or watching it. That being said, if I had to choose, definitely the book. I'd much rather go through this story using my own imagination.

Lol, yeah they're pretty different. You gotta love the Unbirthday song though.

'Twinkle twinkle little spat, how I wonder what you're at.' That's classic.

Did you read Through the Looking-Glass as well?

I do not like the Tim Burton version. The original cartoon movie, though, is amazing and worth watching. It's trippy and quirky, but I do feel like they encapsulate Alice well.

Well, you're going to have to specify since there have been so many. To be honest, as a kid I never really liked Alice in Wonderland. It's only after playing American Mcgee's Alice that I developed a love for the story. But as far as movies, the only one I have liked is the Disney version. It just accurately portrays the random weirdness of the story and doesn't try to turn it into some epic journey about finding yourself that Alice in Wonderland never was.

The Burton one was visually stunning but that's it. It was too dark and creepy. That was just Hollywood trying to capitalize on the make kid's movies creepy trend they had going there for a few years. That Willy Wonka was ultra creepy.

I agree. Hollywood turned that movie into something that would almost scare little kids. It’s almost something you would see young adults watching, because it’s too dark or creepy for children.

The movie was really interesting but to be honest the book was confusing...I also prefer the movie because it gives me a clearer and more relevant vision compared to the book, but on an overall I'll say it is a great story...Very creative and unique...

I read this book as a child, and I liked it. It was so funny and creepy at the same time.
Tim Burton's movie is completely different. The book and the movie are two different stories. It's like comparing apples and oranges.

I liked the book as a kid, but, now, I enjoy the movies more. The movies were so much better than the books.
