I love the books, they're amazing. I quite liked Burton's film too (the first one, didn't see the second one), although it's very different from the original story.

The book is way better, but that's hardly rare since most movie adaptations are lacking compared to the source material.

The original Disney movie of Alice in Wonderland will always be my favorite. The live action Tim Burton one was just weird and kind of creeped me out.

As much as I liked the first Tim Burton movie, I liked the book ore. It's ridiculous and nonsensical in a way that keeps you reading that the film lacked.

I am a huge fan of the books Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass have been since I was a child. I love every film version of it ever produced, even the spin-off series "Once Upon A Time In Wonderland."

I'm completely biased on anything Alice related. ;)

I love Johnny Depp, but the Tim Burton version seemed more playful and silly than mystical and mysterious. The animated Disney version is certainly more entertaining.

The book does an amazing job of depicting how much of a surreal situation Alice is in and the progression of her feelings through the journey.

I honestly loved Tim Burton's one, but I always love his movies and I understand it's a matter of tastes, as they're always reeeaally weird and creepy😁 I hated the Disney one as a child, I don't know why the talking flowers scared me to death 😂 I don't remember much else tho so I can't really judge... And I don't think I've ever read the whole book, but I'd love to, so I think I will pretty soon

I prefer the books all the way! The Disney version was lovely, but still, the book remains an undisputed classic!

I prefer the books, specially Alice through the looking glass, it is excellent. What I noticed in the new movie adaptations is that they are a mix of the two books. Not mad about it, it was just interesting to notice those bits from ine or the other book.

I read the book. I felt like it was nonsense. I like the Tim Burton version, but I like Tim Burton and how he makes things dark and creepy.

It's been a while since I've read the book but I absolutely love the way it was written, very detailed for a "children's" book. Although I completely adore the original 1956 Walt Disney animated version (I just LOVE hand drawn animation). I saw the Tim Burton version back in high school but it was so long ago now that I don't remember it much, other than how excellent the computer was. I will say that I do love most Tim Burton movies though.

I really enjoyed the book. I think if I had seen the movie before I read the book it would definitely have influenced my inagination. I much prefer the book because I my imagination can run free and the characters are brought to life within my mind's eye.

I've never read the book, but I've watched the movies. Although they weren't my favorite, I still enjoyed them. I've been meaning to read the book; I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I don't want to say I don't like the movie because one of my favourite concept artists worked for them. The visuals are great, but the story is not that great.
