Seeing musicals live is fantastic! I have been lucky enough to live in cities my whole life with lots of affordable art around me. If you don't have this option, there are youtube troupes who release live performances. Starkid on YouTube are a great example and they only release original works.

I have always been a fan of a variety of musicals, live or otherwise. I have seen many performed by the college in my neighboring town that took my breath away and I see every musical movie in theatres.

First ever musical I saw was Les Miserable at the age of 8, and I was definitely not paying attention! I fell in love with the story when I saw it again years later and have had the bug ever since.

I loved the Phantom of the Opera and still love to hear music sung from that musical. Also Le Miz was great with some very popular songs.

I love musicals and first fell in love with musicals when I acted in my first one in year 8. In turn, one of the first musicals I watched was wicked at it was absolutely brilliant!

I love musicals mostly when they are animations. Occasionally I do musicals that have human actors in them like the greatest showman it's the best musical I've watched yet.

I absolutely love musicals! I suppose the first ones I ever saw were Disney movies. The first I saw live was "Fiddler on the Roof". Absolutely amazing music! I enjoyed "Bye Bye Birdie" too.

I've watched quite a few musicals since I was a child. My family, mostly my mom and I, really enjoy musicals. Especially well done ones where the music and the dances match the mood of the movie, as well as the overall theme. My favorites include Crybaby, Grease, Xanadu, The Apple, The Wiz. I could list more, but I'll stop at these :lol2:

I've also watched only 2 stage musicals, both in high school, and I've gotta say that my then-peers' production of Annie was very good! I'm convinced that I would love to see a Broadway musical someday :)

My favorite musical is ‘Hello, Dolly!’ with Barbara Streisand. I love how every song has meaning and they help further the plot or make it more fun, unlike some that just take up space. Also, the music balances brilliantly with plot, and the characters are so great and fun. I could go on for hours about how much I love this musical.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe I forgot to mention Mary Poppins! ☂️ It's also one of my favorites, couldn't get enough of it when I was younger and I still love it now. Julie Andrews' voice is so beautiful and the songs are so fun to listen & sing along to.

I really like Heathers! I think it's amazing, I just love the songs and performance. I sadly never saw it live, but I want to one day.

Yes! I haven't watched many of them, these days I barely have time for anything, but any time I go see a musical or watch a musical film, it's a beautiful experience.

I grew up with a sister in drama club, so I know a lot of musicals. My favorite has always been Singin' in the Rain with Gene Kelly. It just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
