I would definitely read the book because you can get deeper into it by reading it, but after that i will watch the movie. :D

Personally, book over movie is a matter of opinion. My opinion is that books are better mainly due to the fact that they provide more detail than movies. Along with more detail, when a book is made into a movie it changes the way readers perceive the characters and plot.

I mostly prefer the books over the movies as they are more detailed and tend to follow a more interesting storyline, the only time I prefer the movie over the book is as mentioned above if the book is bad or boring.

I prefer book rather than movie. Reading a book provides more freedom to my imagination. I can imagine any actors in the roles of book characters. I can imagine other worlds without any special effects.

Yes. I always prefer the book over the movie. Things are somewhat left to the imagination when reading the book; the movie sets limits.

Book first every time, usually the book is better as the movie has to be dramatised to make it more interesting to a wider audience. Sometimes the movies are good, and I do like to compare the two to see how they differ

I would prefer a good book to a movie. I love visualizing the characters and building the scenes in my head while reading the book.

I prefer a book every time. Even though I enjoy a movie made from a novel, I always prefer the novel. Also, if need be, I can always skim read through parts that don’t appeal to me in a book, but I never know what the screenwriter of a novel is going to put into the movie version.

The book always, the movie can never capture the true contents of the book.

I prefer the book first, and then I'll watch the movie. I usually find the movie lacking in comparison to the book.

It depends. Some stories were better as movies than books (Fight Club), some are the other way round. But possibly the best way to go is to first read the book and then watch the film :)

well I 'd prefer to read the book first to get the details of it and watch the movie after that because if i watch the movie first i would end up reading the book knowing the plot and that would just make the experience less interesting tbh

I almost always prefer the book over the movie. My take is that movies are never better than the book; the movie simply does the book justice.

This decision is mainly depends on the quality of the story. I would definitely read a book if it is a good piece rather than movie. Because, in book alone i feel reality and describing everything in perfect way stimulates our imagination unlike movie.
