I prefer books honestly. It allows me to use my imagination and formulate the characters how I want. Watching a movie can be a but disappointing because it doesn't carry the emotions and detail of books

I find movies boring. I struggle to watch movies. I read books almost everyday. So book beats movies for me

I prefer a book to a movie. I also like to watch the movie after reading the book to see how the movie adapted the book.

I would always choose the book instead of the movie.

Lately it’s been all about books for me. The only time I watch movies is if my husband puts something on that sucks me in.

Only when I really disliked the book but am willing to give it a second chance from a different perspective.

99% of the time I would choose the book. Usually with book-to-movie adaptations, they have to leave out a lot of details from the book because of the time limit... so I feel like you don't get to know the characters as well through a movie. And the plot can sometimes feel rushed as well.

Yes. A book offers more content and also allows you to connect more with the characters. It is you who imagine and envision the way characters do stuff. In the movies- you are watching the vision of a director!

It depends a lot on the movie. For example, about Twilight I like the movies more than the books. About Harry Potter I like the movies and the books alike. That's why I think each case is different. But overall, I like knowing both the book and the movie.

I would rather watch the movie than read the book. However, if I am travelling, I would like to read the book.
