Well it depends. Most of the time I prefer anime, because it feels more vivid than a manga. But I also like manga, especially when they are more developed than the anime.

I actually prefer anime. I enjoy reading because I can set the scene in my head based off of the author's description. With manga, I feel like the only thing missing from setting the scene is the character's voice/intonation, but all the other components are there. I'd rather it be all or nothing.

It varies but if I'm introduced to the anime first then I'll go toward anime but with some of the series I find myself leaning towards the manga.

I usually prefer manga but if I'm doing something and want background noise then I like the English dubbed anime.

True - I love both and sometimes will view them simultaneously but I prefer the manga. It's unfettered and doesn't have some of the unnecessary censorship, plus you cover a whole lot more scenes that just seem to be completely overlooked in the anime.

I find manga hard to follow... still haven’t figured out quite how to read them properly. I’m not into anime anymore but I think I prefer anime more. Still the manga is going to be the best for the true story.

In my opinion I prefer anime for the way they bring a story to life. But manga is also nice as you explore the author's story directly from them.

It really depends on how well its executed, but if you want my answer right now, it's anime. What can I say? I grew up with it first.

When I was a child I often watch anime such as Sailormoon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Dragonball, Digimon, and etc. That time I was a kid and my eyes just enjoying the colourful graphic and the beautiful each characters design. Not notice the weakness in graphic art. Then when I'm start growing I learn about manga and comic. From that I knew the anime I watch before are from the adaptation of mangas. So I will sometimes read manga and watch anime. I do enjoy both. But I prefer manga because it is original work and the drawing are beautiful with its tones and contrast black and white, also it is very precise and specific. The posture of the character was draw are suitable for the situation and the character mimic emotion face.

Honestly, I have a process of reading the manga first and watching the anime afterward, if possible. It's the most enjoyable way of getting both. I like holding physical books, and its sometimes difficult to sit still through a show. I enjoy them both equally though, no matter which one.

Watching a snippit of the Anime helps me want to read the physical book and get attached to the characters personally. Once I have developed a solid background of the story lines that is when I turn on the t.v. to watch.
