I like both! :D But I should probably stick with the book because I'm a scaredy-cat :o :o :o . I found out that my imagination of events and characters are much less horrifying than the depiction in the movies.

I like both but I find that when I close my eyes and see something scary, those are scenes from the movies. When a scene from a book scares me too much, I physically throw it away and cover it with pillows. :)

I like the way people act while reading and watching horror books and movies. One of my friends starts screaming every time she sees a ghost in the movie.

I prefer horror movie so that I will really feel the suspense. Horror background music adds to the thrill.

Books can't have those stupid jump scares, which seems to be what passes for horror nowadays, so that's one giant plus in their corner. On the other hand, to me horror is really about the images and music or sounds, so I don't think a book can ever be as scary as a movie.

Horror books are good, but horror movies are the way to go if you want REAL horror.

What passes for horror movies nowadays isn't scary at all. Coated with suspense and effects but not scary to me at least. Maybe it's because i had too many horror movies marathon but i really feel like no movies can scare me as much as a 'good' horror book. But then it's suggestive, maybe my imagination gets the better of me but i'm more thrilled to read horror than watch it.

I don't prefer either but if I had to chose one I would probably go with the book. I do better reading scary than watching it

I like horror movies. I must say that I don't enjoy reading anything scary. There is something about reading and imagining the scenes on the book that creeps me out.

My preference would be to read the book first and then see the movie. That way if it is really scary, I am prepared for what is going to happen in the movie. It is embarrassing to run out of a packed theater. Not that I know anything about that.

My interests would be to see the movie. I enjoy watching Gothic movies because when watching it, you feel the suspense, the visual illustration from that movie than reading the book and having mild imagination on it.

Definitely a horror book...... What a book can portray can't be matched with a movie, a movie only shows half of what is written in a book
