I'm not really sure what book I'd want to be turned into a movie. However, when I see a movie and find out there was a book first I feel an unbelievable urge to go read it. That happened with Hill House on Netflix. I just had to buy the book after seeing the series. Is it weird to do things in that order?

Prisoner of Birth by Jeffery Archer. It is one of my favorite books and would love to see it turned into a movie.

I wish every good book i ever read could be adapted into a movie. For instance The Lost Clan series should be adapted into a movie. I wonder who would play Ace.

Maybe, "Dragon's Bane" by Barbara Hambly or "Windhaven" by George Martin.

There are so many that I would love to see turned into a film or television series! Here are a few:

A Breath of Eyre by Eve Marie Mont
Legend by Marie Lu
The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau

I've always wondered how Catcher in the Rye would do as a film. I'm sure it'd be just as divisive as the book.

I LOVED the Moning books starting with Immortal Highlander. They would be a cool series- for HBO maybe. I really like the Sara J Maas- Court of Thorns and Roses as well. I started reading Sarah's Throne of Glass books but I didn't really love that series. Oh and BTW, they are making those into a series.

Neal Stephenson: any of his books. They are always on a gigantic scale and would include all the technical wizardry that dominates modern film. And now I will test my memory. There is a book titled Turn of the Century by Kurt Anderson in which one of the characters uses his wealth to purchase the film rights of classic books precisely so he could prevent them from becoming movies. Great novel, plus it gives you a list of books that really need to be filmed.

I would love to see “A Voice in the Wind” by Francine Rivers made into a movie. Her book “Redeeming Love” would also make a great movie.

The movie "a dogs journey" really hit me hard...it's storyline is really creative and the imagination is out of this world..the transition of the dog each time it passes away and comes back as another breed and tries to find it's owner is fascinating..therefore putting such a movie into writing will be worth reading over and over

Redeeming love by Francine Rivers

An emotional yet knowledge filled story meant for the big screen.
