Reading it in a book rather than watching it in a movie appeals to me more. You can picture how intense, daring, and romantic their love affair is based on the books. Some of the most stunning moments aren't seen in the film. You can picture how intense some of the scenes are by reading the book, this isn't very noticeable in the films.
