Most definitely the Grey in the book. In the book you were given an in-depth insight into his character, and the journey to figuring him out was intense and intriguing. He also seemed a lot more attractive and larger-than-life in the book. The Grey in the movie was not mysterious enough. I found it bothersome that he mainly bore one expression, which made reading into his character rather impossible, and frankly, boring.

I don't personally think that either come across as likeable, but I prefer the book as I can use my imagination to fill in the unspoken aspects, rather than being shown them.

Yes I know what you mean. I usually find characters in the books better, this was not an exception. Still great in both though! :D

I much prefer Christian Grey in the book. I don’t know what it is about Jamie Dornan’s portrayal but I just find the whole think cringey and awkward.

I prefer the Christian Grey in the book than the one who portrayed it. I honestly don't get the vibes of being hot in the actor who portrayed it. :snooty: :snooty:

The one in the book was way more complex, the movie one just came of as a bully to me.

I like the book Christian Grey more because he seemed more manly & could picture him to suit your own fantasy.
