I cry mostly while reading books verses movie, though there have been a few close calls. The movie that made me cry was the anime film, A Silent Voice. Books on the other hand, I might as well have a heart a attack because I experience so many emotions with writing.

Always. The first book that made me cry was Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It was a long, long time ago.

I was a little sad when Sirius in Harry Potter passed away. He was the godfather to Harry, an orphan, and only family connection Harry had at that point that was positive. For movies, Avengers Endgame, was emotional. The line Morgan, Tony Stark's daughter, says is iconic.

I find I don’t often cry at books unless it is exceptionally emotive or sometimes just random. The last book I cried at was Of Mice and Men. Whereas with movies I cry all the time and I suppose it’s because I react to visual emotions more than emotional that rely on my imagination.

I cry at everything in a book or on the screen. I am just too emotional! I cried listening to the audiobook for The Fault in Our Stars and watching the movie. I cried reading Me Before You, Book Thief, Harry Potter, you name it. If it's got a heart-wrecking scene, I cried.

This is kind of weird but I always cry a lot when Fred Weasley dies in the Harry Potter books and when I watch the movies I cry because he didn't get the on-screen death he deserved.

I'm not sure how much credibility my reply has because i cry at everything. But yes I love a good cry at any feel good movie such as Wonder and any heartbreaking book like The Hunger Games.

I haven't shed tears on a movie before but I've always felt some sort of sober emotions. Most notably, the TV series Merlin

Seeking a friend for the end of the world. I knew how it ends, we all did, but I hoped for more, The characters were so alive, they deserved more, and for that I cried.
