Instantly, I feel it even before the scene starts, but only real emotions touch me, I am not affected by fake ones.
Think outside of the books.

I cried watching "The Fault in our Stars" and "Tangled". I liked both the movies and books.

My choice for tons of tears shed is "The Notebook." The true love between Duke and Allie is something to aspire to.

Yep, I have but think books top that over movies...movies that really got to me are The Pianst and The Green Mile, and books - I guess top on the list would praobably be The Color Purple, The Dairy of Anne Frank and Wuthering Heights...

I cried really badly during the deaths in the last book of the hunger games, which suprised me at the time and made me question her actions, as if she knew that all that sacrifice for that person was still going to result in death I’m not sure if she would still have done it, but I have a feeling she would.

The fault in our stars is truly a great example; I bawled when reading the book and then just as much when watching the movie. Although movies are often better at evoking emotion because they can incorporate music... which well, really pulls on my heart strings

You took the words right out of my moth The fault in our stars is so emotional but it's far sadder in the movie than in the book.

I think i'm in love with the books who made at least once to cry. Green John is definitely one of the authors that can give you all the emotions and feels in just one book. I cried at many books but Searching for Alaska, god that ended me.

I cried with both the movie and book of Me Before You. I tried to talk myself out of the crying in the movie, rationalizing that I already knew how it ended, but I was a goner.

Also, is it weird that I cried at a few parts in Pet Semetary by Stephen King?

I want to preface this by saying am not an emotional person. I didn't cry during marley and me and I didn't shed a tear when Dobby died in Harry Potter (but I was pretty sad in both instances!) That being said, I cried through most of the movie The Hate U Give. I think I started halfway through and every time I would get myself under control something would happen and I'd start bawling again. Then, I decided if I enjoyed the movie that much, I had to try the book. I knew most of what was going to happen yet still cried through most ignorant the book. I would 110% recommend that anyone who hasn't watched the movie or read the book to go out and do so.
