The movie "My Sister's Keeper" will always leave me in tears. It breaks my heart, even though the book and movie are both good.

Marley and Me (John Grogan) was one of the few books that made me cry. The movie was the closest to the book I've seen, although not without its errors.

I know the more I read, the more books I will come across that will make me cry, but I love when an author and evoke that kind of emotion in me with their writing.

Honestly there have been a few. Most recently I finished Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks. I haven't read all of his books but there were a couple moments in the end. There's been a few and I'm having a brain freeze haha

The last book/movie that I have watched was “A Walk to Remember” it is a very classic book about a boy who fell in love with a church girl. Later through out the novel and movie the boy finally realizes she has cancer and will die, but he is already in love with her. So, he fulfills her wishes by getting married to her and giving her a few months of happiness until she dies. This story describes the purest kinda of love out there and how just seeing your loved one happy and fulfilling their wishes is all you’ll ever want. After previously reading the book and then later watching the movie, I could not stop myself from tearing up once and a while. I have engulfed myself inside the feeling of pain and sorrow for this couple. I honestly wish I had a love like that, apart from dying obviously.

Cried reading The Book Thief and Me Before You.
Didn't cry watching the Me Before You movie, however. I did cry watching The Fault In Our Stars, but not while reading the book. Could have been because I saw the movie first (unfortunately).

It takes a lot to move me to tears when reading a book. A few times I remember in particular was when reading Where The Red Fern Grows and Marley And Meas a child and when reading Graceling later as preteen/teenager.

Since then, I don't think I've ever cried at any book as an adult.

There are so many movies and books that I’ve cried for that I have lost count.

I have such a soft spot for some characters in books. During movies, I am more prone to cry because of the dramatical music and framing.

The Titanic movie made me cry. It still gets me all the time I re-watch it.
